Product Manager (Financial Domain)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager with over 5 years of experience in the financial domain, preferably with a background in trade finance product management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the development and growth of our financial products, ensuring they meet market demands and regulatory standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product owners, and operations to deliver innovative solutions that provide significant value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development:

• Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and release planning.
• Collaborate with engineering, PO’s and design teams to create user stories, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Ensure product features are delivered on time and within scope.

Stakeholder Management:

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
• Communicate product updates and changes effectively to all stakeholders.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all product-related inquiries within or across scrum squads.

Trade Finance Focus (if applicable):

• Leverage experience in trade finance to develop specialized product features.
• Ensure compliance with trade finance regulations and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in the financial services industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing financial products from conception to launch.
• Experience with trade finance products is a significant advantage.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulatory environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, JIRA).
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with trade finance platforms and solutions.
• Knowledge of digital transformation trends in the financial industry.
• Certification in Product Management (e.g., CPM, AIPMM) or relevant field.
